Merridy Gerlach, Showroom Manager
Merridy joined Tufenkian in 1996. She has degrees in Psychology and Interior Design as well as thirty years of experience in retail sales and management in the Portland area. As a co-manager at Tufenkian, she works with both residential customers and both commercial and residential interior designers. She also specializes in helping clients create one-of-a-kind Tufenkian custom rugs.

Dave Weidkamp, Showroom Manager
Dave joined Tufenkian in 1997. He has a bachelors degree in Sociology and Religious Studies and worked four years in commercial banking before joining Tufenkian full time. Today he works with interior designers and their clients across the country and has been integral in creating the Archive Store, developing the internet businesses of Tufenkian with closeout rugs via TufenkianOutlet.com, and selling new rugs via TufenkianCarpets.com.

Derrek Becker, TufenkianOutlet Sales
Derrek joins the Tufenkian Portland staff in June 2011 after completing his M.A in Interior Design from Washington State University in Spokane. He previously earned a B.A. in Interior Design from California State University in Fresno and grew up there. Derrick will use his extensive interior design skills and over twelve years of personalized sales experience to delight long distance clients all across America.

Michelle Ledgar, Sales Associate
Michelle joined Tufenkian in 2010 and has a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has experience working in a Wisconsin-based architectural firm specializing in health care facilities, as well as interior design sales experience in the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, IL. Today she works in the Portland showroom and Archive Store helping designers and residential customers find the perfect rug from any of Tufenkian's collections. When not selling rugs Michelle can be found on her piano practicing Beethoven or cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Go Pack!

Kam Sisco, Operations, Manager & Sales Support
Kam joined Tufenkian in 2007. For over seven years Kam worked in the Architecture & Engineering industry where he played many different valuable rolls tasks including contract management, project administration and marketing support. Kam attended the University of Oregon where he studied theatre arts and music. He is currently back in the academic world and is pursuing an Applied Associates of Science in Business Management. Kam's diverse skill set in the administrative and operations field makes him a great asset to the Tufenkian team .

Trent Jacobs, Shipping & Receiving
Trent joined Tufenkian in 2011 and has over five years experience with handmade carpet showrooms in the Portland area.
